Susan and Lexi Haas
We love meeting readers—whether we’re talking with a gym full of students, leading a smaller writing workshop, visiting a book club, or speaking with an adult audience about disability and inclusion.
School Visits
School visits are at the heart of what we do. Our presentations combine storytelling, humor, honest conversation, and plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions.
A full-day visit can include up to three presentations or workshops, with each session tailored to the students’ ages and interests. Every presentation includes audience Q&A, and we can often incorporate a book signing, classroom visit, lunch with students or staff, or additional small-group conversation into the day.
Nearby schools are welcome to share a full-day visit. Virtual presentations, workshops, and Q&A visits are also available.
Libraries, Book Clubs and Adult Audiences
We also enjoy speaking with libraries, book clubs, conferences, community organizations, corporations, employee resource groups, and parent or educator groups.
Adult programs can focus on our books and writing partnership, disability representation, augmentative communication, or practical ways to talk with children about disability.
