We’re Susan and Lexi Haas, a mother–daughter creative team writing funny, big-hearted books about disability, adventure, family, and finding your own way through the world.

Lexi brings her lived experience, imagination, humor, and very strong opinions to our brainstorming sessions. Susan brings a writer’s ear, years of storytelling experience, and some strong opinions of her own. Together, we create characters we love, get them into an unreasonable amount of trouble, and occasionally agree on how to get them out again.
